Rates & Policies

POLICIES

·    You must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation. The Renter agrees to take full responsibility for any accident(s); injury(s) or damage(s) that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property and that Bear Run Inn Cabins & Cottages (BRICC) shall not be held liable, or responsible for such injury(s), accident(s) or damage(s). The Renter assumes all charges incurred and or damages to the premises, structures, or contents, during the stay, caused by the reserving party or its guests. BRICC reserves the right to charge the Renter's credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please inform us immediately to avoid any damages being charged to your account. BRICC assumes no responsibility for damages or loss of items belonging to our guests. The Renter agrees to vacate the premises in clean condition and in as good of a condition as when entering. Inspection of the premises will be made by BRICC after termination of the rental period.

·    Rates are based on 2 guests/per night. Each additional adult guest is $25.00/person/night. Children ages 3-16 are $15.00/person/night. Children ages 0-2 are free. Rates do not include a 6.75% State Sales Tax and a 6% Bed Tax. All rates and taxes are subject to change without notice.

·    Weekend rates apply on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

·    Weekend Cabin/Cottage stays require a 2 night minimum stay which consists of a Friday & Saturday or a Saturday & Sunday. If we can accommodate a one night Cabin/Cottage stay during the weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday), the rate is $220.00/night for 2 guests. B&B rooms require a 2 night minimum during all October weekends. Holiday stays require a 2 night minimum stay.

·    50% deposit is required for all Cabin & Cottage reservations payable by Credit Card. Balance is due 3weeks (21days) before arrival payable by CASH, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, or AMERICAN EXPRESS

·    Reservations made 3 weeks or less from intended arrival will pay the entire balance.

·    Final guest occupancy count must be confirmed at least (3) weeks prior to arrival.

·    Goldilocks has a 4 adult guest minimum and Redbud Cabin & Red Oak Cabin have a 6 adult guest minimum when reserving.

·    We reserve the right to close off unused bedrooms in the larger Cabins/Cottages when booking fewer guests than maximum occupancy.

·    All guests must be registered and visitors authorized by Bear Run Inn Cabins & Cottages.

·    Responsible children are welcome in the Cabins. The B&B Rooms are reserved for adult guests only. All children must be under adult supervision at all times.

·    Fireworks are not permitted. Open fires are only allowed in designated areas.

·    Occasionally appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc., can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but are unable to make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other "Acts of God or Nature" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are sometimes not up to full temperature at the time of check in and may need additional hours to heat. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency. Failure to do so may result in damage or excessive cleaning charges.

·    We will respond as soon as possible to clear snow and ice from driveways. However, four wheel drive is recommended during the Winter Season at all of our facilities.

·    Bear Run Inn Cabins & Cottages may check the Hot Tub daily for health and safety reasons.

·    Bear Run Inn Cabins & Cottages are SMOKE FREE inside and outside. A $500.00 cleaning fee for smoking inside or cigarette butts outside will be charged to the credit card on file.

·    NO pets permitted.

·    Gift Certificates are valid for one year from date of purchase.

Check In Policies

• We request an approximate time of arrival.

• Check In: 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Please call to see if an earlier check-in is possible.

• Check Out: 11:00 am. We are not able to accommodate late check outs.

Cancellation Policies

·    $25.00 Cancellation Fee for all B&B Rooms, The Aspen Cabin and The Sugar Maple Cabin.

·    $50.00 Cancellation Fee for the Goldilocks Cottage, Red Oak Cabin and Redbud Cabin.

·    Refunds are given on the following formula:

·    32 days or more notice from scheduled arrival - Full Refund of Deposit minus the cancellation fee.

·    22-31 days notice from scheduled arrival - 50% Refund of Deposit plus the cancellation fee.

·    21 days or less (including last minute reservations) - No Refund of Deposit plus the balance due will be charged to the credit card on file. We will attempt to rebook your cabin but there are no guarantees. If rebooked a cancellation fee will still be taken.

·    Any cancellation during the month of October will result in the balance due being charged to the credit card on file.

·    In the event of an early departure or in the case of inclement weather, we are unable to give any kind of refund.

• Old towels for muddy boots and cleanup

 

Firewood Alert! Do not move firewood into Hocking County. It is illegal to move firewood out of Ohio Quarantined counties. Violators face up to $4,000.00 fines.
